Madagascar sadly experiences over 400 plagues each year, which are usually spread by infected fleas or bodily fluids. But, this unquenchable outbreak has been different from most, because of the pneumonic plague. This plague is air born, and when infected individual’s cough they can infect others. For the first time in three decades, the men’s USA soccer team did not qualify for the 2018 World Cup this past week after a 2-1 loss to Trinidad and Tobago. The team only needed to defeat or tie in this game to qualify. All in all this is a pretty tragic loss for the team and really for the entire country, very upsetting for the players, the managers and especially the fans. A lot of people have possible reasons as to why the loss may have happened why it hurts so much and why it is such a tragic loss.

American League Division Playoff Games
The 2017 MLB postseason has been going on for some time now, the first postseason game began on October third. The first two games of this years postseason action kicked off with the wild card games, just like the years before. Obviously every weekend there are upsets in sports, but some are more significant than others. The biggest upset of the weekend was No. 2 ranked Clemson losing to unranked Syracuse, 27-24.
Over this past weekend one of the largest light shows in the nation took place in downtown Cincinnati. This four day event featured murals, urban landscapes, large scale projections, and interactive art over the span of 20 blocks in downtown Cincinnati from the banks to Findlay market.
The creators of Blink were amazed at the turnout and the number of people that attended. Dan Reynolds described the experience as unbelievable. There was an estimated amount of 1 million people who came out to the show. Sitting buses were packed to the brim with people, shoulder to shoulder. An uber driver stated that over the span of the 16 years he’s been driving he’s never seen so many people downtown before. Blink got people out to explore places that they’ve never seen before and it was an overall celebration for Cincinnati.
The overall theme of all the artwork was togetherness, although it also brought people together downtown. There were people of all backgrounds who came together this weekend. There were a number of different types of artwork, from murals to light shows to interactive works. Blink would literally stop you in your tracks and leave you in awe with what you are looking at.
Saturday night dance company had an amazing performance! The dance team didn’t disappoint bringing jaw dropping back flips, somersault, lifts, and more! The danced to classics such as Back in Black by AC/DC, Blame it on the Boogie by Micheal Jackson, and You Make Me Feel So Young by Frank Sinatra to newer and more contemporary songs like Glorious by Macklemore, Hair by Little Mix, Friend Like Me by Ne Yo from Aladin, and more.
