Almost 40 years after the disastrous and deadly eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18th, 1980 in the state of Washington killing 57 and leaving $1.1 billion in damages after leveling over 250 homes, it is feared that the volcano may again erupt. Recently an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.2 struck Alaska and has triggered tsunami warnings across its coasts, and it is feared that it will awaken Mount St. Helens with the mountains threat level already being described as “very high” and shockwaves running through the northwestern United States.

Our skin is our protective layer from outside forces, it’s constantly growing, and adapting. Most of us can’t imagine not having this security blanket around us at all times, but for a 7-year old boy that became his reality. He lost most of skin due to a rare genetic skin disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is when your skin blisters and tears off at the touch. Epidermolysis Bullosa is often fatal in most cases. Le’Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers: His 39.5 topped all running backs on Sunday and represented the third-best single-game total of his career
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Houston Texans: Like his 35.9 PPR points, it was the fourth time in his career that he had scored at least 35, and in each of the four he had a different quarterback throwing to him. Continue reading Fantasy football Winners/Losers Week 14
This may be the biggest question in gaming this year…is Fortnite better than Player Unknown Battlegrounds? Many of the original battle royale players will argue that h1z1 is the best of any game with this specific game mode. Then, there is the players of these two who think that it is outdated and the new generations of the mode have taken over.
Player Unknown Battlegrounds was the first one to be released on Steam and many players flooded in to get the winner winner chicken dinner at the end of the chaotic battles. It became the biggest trending thing on Twitch and was viewed by millions. Every console gamer was waiting for Bluehole Studio to release this masterpiece on consoles, but then, out of the blue, a rival came along…Fortnite.

Epic Games released their game in the middle of the hype. These two soon came to be huge competitors and now since PUBG is being released to consoles the conflict will be even bigger than what it was in the beginning. This game is the more animated sci-fi version of the battle royal with a cartoon-style game play. Right when this game was released millions bought it and started to chase the wins in the many different game modes.

Bluehole immediately responded to this outrage and said, “Please don’t copy us.”
They were expected to see a decline in players for they were the greatest in the time without Fortnite, and this did happen. I have asked players of the games which one they would pay money for and it is honestly at a midpoint standoff of which game they think is better. So, I believe that once the game is on consoles across the world, we will be able to see which game is truly the more popular. Maybe, it will be even more of a half and half fanbase when this happens, or maybe the PUBG players will be in disappointment when everyone chooses Fortinite, or the vice versa.
Here are the release dates of each game and other information:
-July, 25, 2017
-Epic Games, People Can Fly
-Just reached 30 million players
-Bluehole Studio, PUBG Corporation
-Just reached 30 million players
Kyrie Irving has recently been traded to the Boston Celtics and many believe that it was a bad choice because (as they believe) Lebron James was the only reason he had great stats and games. I do not think this. Kyrie is and all-around amazing point guard and he can lead a team by himself. The Celtics, as of right now, are 8-3, whereas the Cavaliers are 5-7. Logically, you would think that the Celtics just are a better team and have better players, but the Cavs have 7 all-stars and Boston only has 2. One of them even has been injured at the beginning of the season, so technically, they only have one single leader. Let’s see how much better/worse his first 12 game stats are:
In Fairfax Virginia a 22-year-old graduate student, Marisa Harris was killed around 4:15 p.m. Saturday October 28th on I-66 after a 12-year-old boy attempting suicide jumped off an overpass and landed on her SUV. Harris was going eastbound when the boy leaped from the Cedar Lane overpass and landed on her 2005 Ford Escape, reported WRC.
Police responded to the accident at 4:18 p.m.Harris was pronounced dead at the scene. Her boyfriend was also in the car when the accident took place, his name was not given and he was not injured. At impact Harris grabbed the steering wheel and maneuvered the vehicle off the interstate, according to authorities, stopping against a concrete barrier on the road’s left shoulder. Harris’ family said her boyfriend took control of the car and steered it off of the interstate. Harris was killed by the impact of the fall, according to Corinne Geller, a spokeswoman for Virginia State Police. Following the accident, the police transported the 12-year-old boy to Fairfax Inova Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Marisa Harris’s mother explained how it was ironic that the boy who killed her child could have been helped by hers. Marisa’s mother knows that her daughter could have helped the depressed child. Marisa Harris’s mother explained how it was ironic that the boy who killed her child could have been helped by hers. Given her work with children, the circumstances of her death — after a suicide attempt by a 12-year-old — were not lost on the family. Harris’s father described her as outgoing and well-traveled. She had an affinity for the outdoors and loved hiking, he said. “She was fearless, she was absolutely fearless,” he said. “She was loved by her friends, she was dearly loved by her family, she was admired by her peers, she was just a shining star.” And her professional interest ran in the family: Harris’s grandfather is also a psychologist, and her father said she “comes from a long line of psychologists.” Marisa’s parents know that her daughter could have helped the depressed child. Marisa was a graduate from summa cum laude from Towson University before beginning her from a program at Marymount University where she studied mental health counseling. The police at the scene made it unclear if the boy responsible for the death of Marisa Harris would have to be charged.

A very important question everybody has been asking is ,“why are our Great Lakes drying up so quickly?” For years we have been told the reason for that being we “global warming” or some sort of climate change. What if that isn’t true? What if the reason all of our Great Lakes are drying up is because of us. Scientist are now discovering the problem the drying up the lakes are because of humans. More than 170 years of water records, and comparing these records to the amount of flowing of water has shown us that, the amount of consumption of freshwater is what could be to blame for Utah’s Great Lake.
