This is all about the stress your muscles undergo during a set and how long you can hold your muscles straining them. slowing down the tempo and holding your muscles encourage muscle growth. Building muscle can also increase the calories you burn. And when slowing down on lifts focus on your form.
5. Pace yourself
You might not be able to lose that 10 pounds you want gone over night so don’t hurt yourself trying to work off those extra few pounds. When you’re trying to get in shape its easy to go all in in the very beginning. though it can initially speed up weight loss that’s not always the case. It can lead to burn out and back tracking.
