Aaron Feis, a security guard at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, wasn’t just a security guard but also a counselor to many kids. When he caught kids skipping class, instead of sending them to the principal’s office or yelling at them, he would have a 1 on 1 talk with them.
Feis was seen driving his golf cart then sprinting on foot towards the active shooter to shield the bullets from the kids that he loved to work with. Feis pushed at least one girl out of the line of fire before he was struck by a bullet. Aaron Feis later died to do the wounds. He was among 16 others to lose their life during the inexcusable tragedy at the Parkland High School.
