If you’re just laying around the house feeling bored pondering what you can do, here are some fun inexpensive things you can go out and do with your friends or family!
October 12 / 15 – You can attend one of the biggest light shows called BLINK which is being held across 22 blocks of Cincinnati in Over-the-Rhine.
September 13 / October 15 – Attend Broadway in Cincinnati’s Wicked at the Aronoff Center. Wicked is Broadways biggest blockbuster
September 22 / October 28 – This one is a little pricey but if you’re looking for something spooky to do you can go to Halloween Haunt on Fridays and Saturdays at Kings Island.
October Saturdays – From 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm in Clarksville Ohio you can go to the Lantern Light Wagon Ride for a family friendly ghost tour! Travel this historical farm for only $14 per person.
October Thursday / Sundays – Go to one of Ohio’s scariest haunted houses in Elyria. There are wicked clowns in 4-D and it is the first 4-D haunted house in the state of Ohio.
October 14 – At 8 am down at Newport on the Levee go on down to the Salute to Service 5k to honor the heroes from all branches in the U.S. military. Donations will benefit the USO of Central and Southern Ohio. This 5K will also include a Pumpkin dash for kids followed by an after party at Axis alley.
October 14 – All you dog lovers and owners head down to Glendale for the Spooky Pooch from 11 am to 5 pm, which includes activities for their dogs and owners such as Spookiest Pooch contest, Spooky Pooch parade, and more!
October 19 – Enjoy Chocolate tasting from local vendors at the Cincinnati Chocolate festival for $10 at the Cintas Center
October 20 – From 6pm to 10 pm at Summit Park in Blue Ash go to Enjoy the Movie in the Park where they are showing the movie Hocus Pocus with tricks and treats
October 28 – At duke energy convention center for free you can go to Books by the Banks! It is the eleventh year for this festival with local authors and illustrators for book signings, discussions, and other activities.
November 4 – At Hyde park school you can attend the Pumpkin Chuckin! Get rid of your pumpkins by using a catapult to hit the school’s fundraising target. Contribute to this good cause and all proceeds will go towards a new play yard.
